6 months!
Our baby girl is celebrating her 1/2 birthday today.
Not much has changed since the last update-- she is still barrel rolling, and while we have seen her get on her knees a couple of times, she isn't crawling just yet. Though, not crawling doesn't mean she can't get into the photo props and totally destroy the look I was going for.
She still wakes at least twice (occasionally 3 times) in the night to nurse. We are finishing up our very last box of size 2 diapers, and we are bumping her up to size 6-9 month clothes this week.
She weighs 15 pounds, 2 ounces and is about 25 inches in length.
She has tried some baby food (sweet potatoes) but really wasn't all that into them and didn't really know how to eat them so we haven't tried much further.
Probably the most exciting thing from this month is that she was dedicated at our church this past Sunday. We chose a verse from Psalms for her dedication.
"You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."
-Psalm 16:11
We are feeling like that 1st birthday will be here before we know it. Eek! Happy half birthday sweet Evelyn!
